My art is my most genuine effort to bring you back to the places I love, so the beauty I see doesn’t just end with me. I paint in a way that what you see, makes you feel that you are in that moment. Present. Right there with me.

ISABELLA GARAFFA - her WINTER Collection 2023 has blown away all expectations... her Summer works are now in Full Swing..enjoy.

Isabella Garaffa was born in Asuncion, Paraguay,   She now lives and creates her artwork in Snowmass Village, where she has been residing for the last many years.  Her most treasured childhood memories are directly connected to her strong passion for the wilderness, which is translated throughout her artwork in very intense detail. Seeing Aspen trees for the first time at the age of twenty two, gave her a fresh approach to recreate them in her studio in later years.

"Late Spring Hike" 48 x 60 in.

I love that feeling of hiking in the mountains during a bright blue sky day, when you are deep into the forest on that trail and you look to your side (in this case your left side as you are found going down the trail) and you see the sun peeking through the trees. Like a glowing beam of light that comes and goes as you move along.Playing hide and seek with you. Is somewhere around 10:30 am on this painting. The only noise I can hear is the leafs blowing with the breeze, the birds singing and some stream running somewhere near me. Ahhh the mountains are so refreshing. I happen to find myself too often on lost trails, way out there, with nobody near by, only to find again the voice of God. And is so good every time. And it only leaves me wanting

Decades in the making, ISABELLA has definitely found her calling. This local, self taught superstar pays homage to our surroundings like no other. Her  expressions of Aspen’s Winter are highly sort after. Check out the latest winter offerings HERE
