“Last June, I was riding my mountain bike on one of my favorite trails and I came across this group of aspen trees surrounded by Dame’s rockets wildflowers all around. It was late in the afternoon and the sun was just starting to set its way to hide behind the mountains. I could NOT pass this without getting off of my bike to take lots and lots of pictures. I actually didn’t even know I was going to paint it, to be honest I kind of doubted painting it because I thought it to be quite impossible to captivate such a glorious moment on a canvas. Only time will tell if I truly did it. But as for me, this one has become one of my favorites! “ - ISABELLA GARAFFA

ISABELLA’s creative process is like no other and her works’s purpose is clear..

“To watch aspen trees getting kissed by the sun when you are lost out there in the forest, as the sun sets on the other side of the mountains... is indescribable. That’s why I have to paint them for you.” - ISABELLA GARAFFA
