ISABELLA is our favorite local artist… She is completely self taught and unlike any of the hundreds of Artists that have shared paintings of Aspens with us in the past

So where does the inspiration come from? Does she use photographs when she paints these thriving forests?

ISABELLA responds by saying - “The answer is irrelevant. The question I ask myself before starting a new work is: where is that moment I want to so badly express on my canvas?”
