SHAY KUN: "His" Augmented Reality...Compare the Photo and his Painting

From abstract to photographic realism, Shay Kun is like no other....see his latest series, “Jokes”, the classic “tear drops” and more balloons "The thing is that there are visible brush strokes. The shapes are not as dried and smooth as the computer screen shows. There are details that people can see in the paintings in person", SHAY KUN.

As he talks about how influential his parents were on his Art (dive much deeper HERE), he also states that they were "impressionists and really focused on fantastic realism.  Saturation wasn’t a bad word. Color is important because I’m a visual artist. I’m not a writer. I’m not a musician. The way I paint and grew up is all about color."
