Two days after the Aspen Art Gallery made a commitment to Tyler Sean, he won the Best Rising Artist Prize in Spectrum/ArtBasel Miami. 

His images are shaped by the juxtaposition of several tones layers... They actually are the result of hundreds of hours of hand carved stencil work!

Tyler Sean impresses us for many reasons but his hand crafted, unique technique is at the forefront. He invented his own process (read more).

"My pieces aren't really collage. I developed a new process, kind of organically through trial and error. And because it's new, my work is different than every other artists. I think the difference can be seen most in the aesthetic. Many people assume my works are computer generated or replications. However, each piece is a hand done original made from scratch.
